Bao Jia’s research focuses on numerical modeling and experimental work of CO2 huff-n-puff process in oil shale reservoirs and investigating shale gas flow mechanisms during the Ph.D. period. He holds a BS degree from China University of Petroleum (East China) in Oil & Gas Transportation and Storage, and a Master degree from New Mexico Tech in Petroleum Engineering. He worked on nanosilica-stabilized CO2 foam for mobility control and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) with and without the presence of surfactant during his Master period.
