I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Kansas. Currently, I am working under the guidance of Dr. Alan Allgeier to develop continuous manufacturing processes for active pharmaceutical ingredients. Continuous processes will minimize the risk of toxic and highly reactive chemicals, while providing benefits of quality control associated with steady-state operation. Along with my passion for research, I also enjoy teaching and developing new ways to improve student learning. As a graduate teaching assistant, I have taught and pursued my passion for academics in the senior course, C&PE 615: Introduction to Process Dynamics and Controls.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling and partaking in outdoor activities, such as: cycling, playing golf, and scuba diving.
