Regina received her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Buea, Cameroon. She joined the University of Kansas in 2014, to pursue a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering under the guidance of Dr. Reza Barati. During her study, she developed a Black Oil IMPES Simulator using Matlab and later incorporated a fractured well grid system for simulating the effect of fracture-face damage, yield stress of filter cake, fracture conductivity, fracture length and fluid loss volume on fluid recovery from unconventional reservoirs.
Regina is interested in gaining hands on experience after graduation, however she has future plans of pursuing a PhD and working in Academia as a research professor. She loves challenges, adventure, music and poetry.
