Kevin Leonard in 2018 Class of Influential Researchers

The American Chemical Society (ACS) journal, Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, just announced  their 2018 Class of Influential Researchers, and we are very proud to learn that Assistant Professor Kevin Leonard made the list. Of this list, ACS I&EC said, "Our global team of editors and editorial advisory board members identified this class of influential, early-career (less than 10 years or so in their independent research career) researchers, on the basis of the quality and impact of their research."

Kevin Leonard

Kevin Leonard is currently an Assistant Professor in our department. He received his M.S. and Ph.D., both in Materials Science, from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Dr. Leonard’s research interests include developing new electrocatalysts based on earth-abundant materials, finding and developing new semiconductor materials, and nanoscale morphologies to improve the efficiency of photoelectrochemical reactions related to solar fuel applications, energy storage devices, and scanning electrochemical microscopy.
