The KU Energy Council comprises a number of focus groups each covering a specific portfolio of activity relevant to energy. Each group is assigned a leader who is also a member of the Council.
The Council meets on a regular basis and each group leader is invited to update the Council on developments in their group.
The Council also has a significant outreach function and works through the KU Center for Research, Director of Communications on matters of publicity.
