Dupeng Liu received his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from China University of Petroleum in 2011. He joined the University of Kansas in spring 2013 to pursue his doctoral degree under the guidance of Prof. Bala Subramaniam. Currently, he is a graduate research assistant at KU’s Center for Environmentally Beneficial Catalysis (CEBC). His research interests include hydroformylation of olefin, phase behaviors of gas expanded solvents as well as chemical process economic and environmental analysis. After graduation, he plans to pursue a research position in either academia or industry.
